81, Lois Lorraine (Kessler) Anthony, born May 20, 1930 was the youngest of ten children born to Jerome and Agnes Kessler in Wichita, Kansas. Having been raised on a farm, Lois understood and appreciated the simple life. After graduating high school she went on to attend nurses training at St. Francis Hospital's School of Nursing in Wichita. It was during this time that Lois met and would later marry Charles "Tony" C. Anthony, a military man. They exchanged their wedding vows on October 18, 1952 in El Paso, Texas.
During the many years of travel, often standard in military life, Lois and Tony began their own family, eventually having seven children. After her husband's retirement from the United States Army, Lois and her family would come to settle in Aurora, Colorado in 1972. She is survived by her eldest sister, seven children, 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The Anthony children; John, Michael, Susan, Bruce, Bryan, Sharon and Lance would like to express the grief of their loss with the passing of their mother in her home on September 29, 2011.
