Longtime Bailey resident Lois Miller, 78, passed away April 8, 2013 at the Morningstar at Applewood in Lakewood, Colorado.
Lois was retired from the Federal Government Department of Energy after 35 years of service.
She was an active member of Ladies Auxiliary, VFW Post 8661, in Shawnee, Colorado.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Richard G. Miller; she is survived by her sons, Lee Miller and wife, Rose of New Bern, North Carolina, and Steve Miller and wife, Karen of Conifer, Colorado; two granddaughters, Ashley Mares and husband, Joey of New Bern, North Carolina and Erin Miller of Wilmington, North Carolina and one great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Mares.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association, www.alz.org
