Lonny Jr. was born the sixth child to Lela and Lonny Sr. on October 10, 1957. With him being the youngest son he was serious about measuring up to his older brothers, taking characteristics from each one of them including his five sisters.
Born into an adventurous military family, traveling was life, starting as a small child in Okinawa, Japan to going to Iceland in the Air Force and so many places in between.
After the military, Lonny returned home to Colorado where he met and married his wife Brenda and loved, as he called her, his perfect chocolate drop baby girl Mariah.
Continuing his love for traveling and family, Lonny became a skilled truck driver which allowed him to travel all across the country and visit family whenever he could. Each visit was chucked full of long conversations, warm hugs and plenty of laughter. Lonny loved sharing his passions for music, drawing and martial arts. Amusing himself and others as he named songs after hearing the first few beats and showing his retained skills with his homemade nunchucks.
Mostly, Lonny enjoyed the honest conversations he was able to have with his nieces and nephews. Always striving to keep it 100, even though his talks with everyone, including the little ones could sometimes be a little crass where he would have to be reminded of their age. Most of all, Lonny's love was real and he will always be missed.
Resting now with the Creator along with his parents and three brothers Charles, Don, Earl and three sisters Gloria, Gertha, and Lorraine. He leaves behind to carry his memory, his wife Brenda, daughter Mariah, granddaughter Roslynn, sisters Barbara and Carolyn, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
