Loreta Raye Clark

March 20, 1944 — June 29, 2014

Loreta Raye Clark, 70, of Aurora, passed away June 29, 2014.

She was born March 20, 1944 in San Bernardino Californian, the first born daughter of Leo and Flora (Reynolds) Drake. She was a graduate of Fontana High School. She spent many years in the medical field - first as a phlebotomist and then continued her career as an accredited dialysis technician. She retired due to health issues 10 years go. She cared for her mother in her home for over 12 years.

A resident of Denver Colorado for 43 years – she enjoyed touring the mountains, reading, creating jewelry, spending time with her family, studying the bible and the book of Mormon, collecting native American artifacts, old black and white horror movies, catfish dinners and the company of her friends. She never left a friend in need and always had time to listen.

While we were younger, her 3 kids would always pile into bed with her and insisted that she read "Willa Wonka and the Chocolate factory" end to end. While we lived in Hawaii, we tour the island in an old rickety diesel station wagon. She survived teaching her children to drive, and was never scare of any of the various snakes, bugs and other things we brought home.

She will be missed, she is irreplaceable and always will be held dear to our hearts.

She is at last – at peace, with great joy, singing in that heavenly choir.

Till that time we see you heaven, we will remain broken in heart, but confidante your loving wisdom will see us through.

Love you Mom – Dennis, Robert and Julia.

She is survived by two Sons, Dennis L. Baker, Robert Baker; Daughter, Julia Ann (James) Baker-Leber; Granddaughter, Alyssa-Lee Victoria Faith; Grandson, Corbin Baker; Sister, Sharon Becker; Niece, Traye (Dereck) Jones; Great Nephew, Jayden Jones. She is preceded in death by Father, Leo Drake, Mother, Flora Drake.
