Louis J. Verdeal
December 10, 1924 — April 17, 2013
Louis J. Verdeal, 88, of Denver, passed away Wed., Apr. 17, 2013. Louie served in the Army Air Corps during WWII as a tail gunner. He was shot down in the Battle of the Bulge and spent the remainder of the war as a POW. He retired as a Captain of the Denver Fire Dept. in 1975. He is survived by his children, Cecelia, Kathey, Allen (Kris) & Victor (Melissa); 5 grandchildren & 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Katherine.
Viewing & Rosary Sun., Apr. 28, 5-7 PM at Newcomer West. Service Mon., Apr. 29 at 10 AM at Notre Dame Catholic Church.
