Louise W. Clark

May 13, 1924 — November 26, 2014

Louise Waneta Clark of Thornton, Colorado, born May 13, 1924 to Alva Mull and Mamie (Hinds) Mull in Washington County, Indiana, slipped peacefully into eternal sleep Wednesday, November 26, 2014, she was 90 years young.

Louise lived a full life. She served in the Civil Air Patrol in Indiana, was a member of Beta Sigma Phi. In 1947 she moved from Indiana to Denver, Colorado to be with her mother, Mamie. She found the man she loved skiing in the beautiful Rocky Mountains outside of Denver, started her family and never looked back ... Early on she worked as secretary to the president of Samsonite Corp. in Denver on Broadway. Later moved on to be secretary to the Vice President with Capital Life Insurance. After many company transitions, she retired from Metlife in the same position at the age of 75. She is a life member in good standing of Eastern Star since 1973, joined Dorsey E Hall Court in 1975, Friendship Ct #7, a member of Metro Chapter #157, Grand Chapter and helped at many other courts. She is also a member of the Order of Amaranth. She held many offices for over 30 years and was active as long as she could be.

Louise is survived by her daughters; Linda Klemmetsen-Williams, Carol (Klemmetsen, Stenson) Neils of Mequon, WI, Barbara (Clark) Maxwell, seven grandchildren; Aleka Trujillo, Katlyn Williams, Chad Stenson of Sheboygan, WI, Kari (Stenson) Miller of Grafton, WI , Eric Slagle, Brian Klemmetsen, Kory Klemmetsen along with their spouses and 15 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 brothers in Indiana, Wencel Mull and Cleo Mull, and many nieces and nephews across the nation. She was preceded in death by her son Dale Klemmetsen, great-grandson James Klemmetsen, and two son-in-laws, Brian Neils and Rob Williams.

She had a smile that was 'catching' and never quit, a hug that took your breath away and always willing to help. She loved the mountains and was loved by all that knew her. She's a shining star whose light will shine brightly over us all forever. Mom, we love you and will miss you always, rest in peace.
