Lyda C. Haustein , 67, of Brighton, passed away June 19, 2017.
She was born January 23, 1950 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Harry and Felicinda (Alvarez) Fields.
She was a graduate of Wheat Ridge High School in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
She was married to Larry Haustein, Sr. who lives in Iowa.
Lyda was a trainer for the Federal Reserve for 35 years in the check processing systems. She was responsible for traveling to each Federal Reserve and training the staff in the procedures and processes that process checks today.
Lyda was parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Northglenn where she volunteered her time in various roles for the church.
Lyda enjoyed cooking and loved her shar peis. She liked to travel. Lyda also enjoyed reading and serving at church.
Lyda is survived by daughter, Leah (Randy) Mangel; son, Larry (Valerie) Haustein Jr.; five grandchildren, Randy Mangel, Jr., Tyler (Hannah) Mangel, Duncan Mangel, Braden Mangel and Sydnie Mangel; brother-in-law, Tex (Arna) Haustein; nephew, Jeremy Haustein and niece, Sara Haustein.
She is preceded in death by father, Harry Basil Fields, who is interred in North Dakota, and mother, Felicinda Fields, who is interred at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
