Lydia Clayberg was born on January 8, 1924 in Sterling, Colorado to Italian immigrant parents. She spent most of her childhood helping out on the family farm. She married Harold Clayberg, and they had three children. Two, Cheryl and Craig, soon after their marriage, and Chrisette 16 years later. Lydia held several jobs over the years but her favorite was working as a Para-professional for Denver Public Schools in the Early Childhood Education program. She was a caring but strict teacher that the four year olds loved dearly. At the age of 75 she began going to Living Waters Tabernacle where hearing God's Word captivated her heart. She loved to attend church often and did so right up until a couple weeks before she passed away on May 6, 2011. She is survived by her three children, seven grand children, five great-grand children, a sister, and a brother. She will be dearly missed but we are so happy she is with our Saviour, Jesus Christ!
