Lynn Marie Nielsen, 68, of Aurora, passed away December 15, 2015.
She was born June 22, 1947 in Middlebury, Vermont, to Elmer and Laura (Wetmore) Severy. The youngest of four daughters, she was raised on the Miller Hill dairy farm in Sudbury.
She was a graduate of Otter Valley Union High School and the Hanover School of Practical Nursing. She served as an LPN at the Albert Schweitzer hospital in central Haiti.
Upon her return to the states, she moved to Denver and on April 20, 1974 married Philip Nielsen. Lynn worked at several healthcare facilities and private homes until she retired.
Lynn is survived by her husband, Philip; daughter, Sarah, son-in-law Charlie Roby; grandchildren, Rachel and Benjamin Roby; sisters, Lorraine Molloy and Alberta Culley; and brothers-in-law, Tom Culley and John Fallon. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer & Laura Severy and sister, Rita Fallon.
