Lois Carabello, 1919-2014
Born to Alexander Pollock and Cora Eagan Pollock on November 26, 1919.
Raised in Denver, Colorado. She was a member of St, Joseph's Parish and attended St Joseph's schools for 12 years.
She married Julius Carabello on September 13, 1941. Julius preceded her in death in June, 2008. Lois was the devoted mother of her four children, Tim, Joe (Sharon), Diane Groves (Doug), and Susan (Chet). She is survived by 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and a large extended family.
She was primarily a homemaker and volunteered at many of her childrens' church, sports and school activities. She was a member of the altar and rosary society and served as president. After her children were grown she worked in retail for 20 years. Following her retirement she volunteered for Catholic Charities for 10 years. Lois was involved in and delighted in every aspect of her grandchildren lives. She loved family gatherings, socializing with friends, holidays and any opportunity to engage with those in her life. She was a recreational golfer who made two holes in one. She was an enthusiastic fan of the Denver Broncos, The Colorado Rockies and the Notre Dame fighting Irish. She enjoyed traveling, plays, music, restaurants, going to the mountains and ocean and celebrating St. Patrick's Day. She was always up for any adventure. Lois will be remembered most for her generosity, kindness to all, her contagious sense of humor and her immense loving.

Funeral Mass, followed by Reception, Friday, 1/31 10:00 a.m.
