Manuel A. Vega , 96, of Wheat Ridge, passed away March 26, 2016.
He was born October 30, 1919 in Huachinango, Puebla, Mexico to Otilia Vega.
On March 23, 1943, he married Palma Martinez.
Manuel was a Charter Member of B.P.O.E. Elks Lodge #2438 in Northglenn.
He enjoyed gardening, especially flower gardening. Manuel also enjoyed spending time with people, including his family, grandchildren and his friends. He will be remembered for living his life to its fullest. Manuel also enjoyed listening to mariachi music.
Manuel is survived by his loving wife of 73 years, Palma Vega; Three Daughters, Georgia Apodaca, Becky Kokal and Guadalupe DeHerrera; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; Sister, Alicia Vasquez; and 7 nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by Mother, Otilia Vega and Son, Manuel Vega, Jr..
