Manuel Henry Alvarado III, also lovingly known as "Manny," "Little Ricky," and "DJ Manny Heist1," was born on September 25, 1985, to Deanna (Ortiz) and Manuel (Rick) Alvarado in Denver, Colorado. He departed from this world on September 7, 2025, at the age of 39, at his home located at 1665 Hooker St. Denver, CO 80204. Manuel's greatest source of pride was being a devoted father to his three precious daughters, Victoria Lynn (11), Lilliana (6), and Amina (5). He loved his daughters with unwavering strength and dedication, finding solace and purpose in their love.
Despite facing numerous challenges throughout his life, Manuel's unwavering commitment to his daughters and his faith in God remained steadfast. Manuel was characterized by his immense heart filled with compassion and generosity. His selflessness knew no bounds, always willing to assist others even at his own expense. He believed in the inherent goodness of humanity and tirelessly sought to connect with and care for his extended family, friends, and even strangers.
His approach to life was rooted in love, familial bonds, and faith. From a young age, Manuel displayed his passion for football, art, and music. His artistic talents shone through his intricate drawings, particularly his depictions of animals, loved ones, and the love of Jesus, his beloved savior. As a Christian DJ, he was beginning to explore and expand his musical skills. Manuel found joy in outdoor activities like fishing, camping, and hiking, relishing in nature's beauty and sharing these experiences with his loved ones, especially mentoring young relatives. A man of deep faith, Manuel was a devoted member of Divine Reflection Christian Church in Englewood, CO. He embraced individuality, valued uniqueness in others, and wholeheartedly supported those close to him.
His infectious laughter, compassionate spirit, and willingness to lend a helping hand touched the lives of many, both as a professional Caregiver at an Assisted Living Facility and in his personal relationships. Manuel leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering loyalty. He will be dearly missed by his beloved daughters, mother Deanna L. Gonzales (Ortiz), step-father Michael Gonzales, father Manuel Henry Alvarado Jr., step-mother Tamera Ford, siblings Shaneah A. Alvarado, Michael Gonzales Jr. ("Spud"), Richard Gonzales, and Nicolette Gonzales, and “nephews” Silas, Talon and Halo Plenty Horse, as well as numerous cherished cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. Manuel was preceded in death by his older brother, David Joseph Perez. In honoring Manuel's memory, let us choose the path of love and compassion, just as he did throughout his life. His spirit of goodness and selflessness will forever guide and inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him. Rest peacefully, dear Manuel Henry Alvarado III.
