Manuel Clark Barcelona

Manuel was born on March 12, 1921 in Las Animas, Colorado to Lucinda and Clark Barcelona.

Manuel is preceded in death by his wife Mary, a brother Ruben and his sisters Flora Barcelona, Ruth Fernandez.

Manuel's family moved to Denver when he was a young boy. He attended West high school. At age 19 Manuel married Mary Torres who was the love of his life and they were together for Seventy Two years. They had 4 children whom they loved dearly Carol , Rick, Joyce and Theresa. They also raised granddaughter Justine as their own daughter. Also they were so blessed and fortunate to have their sons-in-law Charlie and Mearle who were like sons to Manuel and Mary. Manuel and Mary were married for 72 years when Mary passed away in 2012. Manuel chose to live alone for nearly 2 years. Manuel had a long happy life always believing in the Lord. He worked several jobs after separating from the Army and retired as a Custodian for the Denver Public Schools. Manuel loved camping and fishing and just being with his family. Manuel was a very kind, warm-hearted person who would give you the shirt off his back. God also blessed Manuel and Mary with Eleven Grandchildren, Eight Great grandchildren and Six great-great grandchildren. Manuel and Mary left a legacy of love for their loved ones always putting their faith in our heavenly Father. Manuel will be missed dearly as well as our Mother Mary. They are now both together in heaven and we will see them both again someday soon as our heavenly Father promised.
