Marc E. Jeffries Jr. of Thornton, Colorado, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2016 after a yearlong battle with Cancer.
He was born February 26, 1968 in Niles, Michigan, the son of Marc and Carlotta Jeffries. He was a graduate of La Salle High School and attended the University of New Mexico where he studied Biology and Music. He worked for the Jefferson County Public School System as a talented but also humorous facility manager even while battling this disease. He proved to us all how truly precious life is and how much of that life we all have left to give.
Marc is forever in the hearts of his surviving family: Father and Mother Marc and Carlotta, His stepmother Beverly. His Wife Myriam, Son Shawn, Step-daughters Amoreena, and Gabriella (with support from her husband David). Step-Grandchildren Zoe, Cyann and Michael, His Sister Debra, Brothers Michael, Jonathan, and Jason and Sister-in-Law Nylda, Niece Noe and Nephew Kai. He is also survived by multiple Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins in Lansing, MI, Chicago, Illinois and Grand Rapids, Michigan and Washington DC.
A private celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, November 25th at Newcomer Funeral Home West Metro Chapel 901 South Sheridan Blvd. Lakewood CO 80226.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society's Research Fund to help fight this disease and one day find a cure so others can live a joyus life that Marc once did.
