Marcia Faye (Dykman) McClung (74) passed away on September 25th, 2026 after a long and courageous battle with acute myeloid leukemia. She was born on July 30, 1952 in Bozeman, Montana to Herman and Lena (Dyk) Dykman and was the youngest of four kids. She was brought home to a small house on Dyk Lane where she spent the first six yrs of her life and then moved with her family to Churchill just before she started 1st grade. She graduated from Manhattan Christian H.S. in 1970 and moved to Denver, CO in April of 1971 where she worked in the accounting dept of Franklin Supply and later for Ragsdale Bros. Manufacturing Co.
She liked to travel and take road trips and was very interested in visiting historical sites and Presidential libraries & museums. She especially liked geography and paper road maps and she liked to read. Some of her favorite trips were to South Africa and the Netherlands the land of her roots. They liked to go to antique stores and taking annual fall trips to the mts. to see the fall color changes and was a long time fan of the Denver Broncos. She enjoyed going to craft fairs, garage sales and going out for lunch with her friends.
Marcia was a friendly lady who liked nothing more than meeting and talking to new people often embarrassing her kids by talking to complete strangers. She never met a stranger, they were only friends she hadn't met yet. She liked to keep in contact with people via e-mail, texting and Facebook and especially enjoyed keeping in touch with her nephews and nieces.
She greatly loved her kids, in-law kids, her grandchildren and was very proud of them and their achievements. When she was almost 62 yrs old she became a grandma for the first time and a whole new world opened up for her:
She is survived by her daughter Kristie (Tony) Mendralla of Black Forest, CO; her sons Craig McClung of Salt Lake City, UT and Curt (Jaime) McClung of Aurora, CO, her two precious grandchildren Fyona and Trentyn McClung also of Aurora. Sister Pat (Con) Holleman of Everson, WA., sister-in-law Karen Dykman of Manhattan, MT., sister-in-law Billie (Jim) Riggs of Booker, TX., her nephews, nieces, cousins and many dear friends.
