Margaret Ann Lee, 78, of Arvada, passed away January 1, 2014 after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
She was born on August 16, 1935 in Denver, Colorado to John and Emma Byrne and was the youngest of eight children. Marge graduated from Holy Family High School in 1953. She married the late Richard Gordon Lee in 1955 and together they had five children. They lived most of their married life in Denver, but also lived in Chicago, IL, Annapolis, MD and San Bruno, CA. She was a dedicated Sales Associate of Sears, Roebuck & Company for twenty years. Marge had a great love for her large extended family and was the family historian. She was passionate about her Christian faith, a devoted community volunteer and loved spending her free time meeting up with her many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son David, two sisters Mary and Betty, and brother Louis. She is survived by four children: Kay (Don) Osmundson of Waconia, MN; Rick (Lee) Lee of Lexington Park, MD; Karen Lee Moreno of Arvada, CO; and Sharon (Todd) Staley of Rockwall, TX. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Eryka Scelfo, Kristin Osmundson, Jennifer Petruzzi, Brenna Owens, Shannon Guzman, Michael Moreno, Erin Heidenreich and David Staley; and four great-grandchildren: Emma Petruzzi, Rhiannon and Vivian Owens and Sophia Heidenreich.
Marge will be missed very dearly by her family and the many people who loved her.
