A Memory
God gave to me a memory,
a blessing in disguise.
For I can see your face, my dear,
when ever I close My eyes.
God gave to me a memory,
and all I have to do, Is turn
my face up to the skies;
and I'm again with you.
God gave to me a memory,
of a rose of beauty rare.
So, be it winter, spring or fall;
I have roses everywhere.
God gave to me a memory,
So, no matter where I roam;
you'll always be beside me,
and I'll never walk alone.
