Margaret A. "Peggy" Hildmann, 68, passed May 27th, 2026. She was born to the late Elmer and Nora Bonner on September 3, 1957 in Queens, New York.
In 1970 the family moved to Denver. Peggy graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1975 and Metro State College in 1977. She is survived by her husband Donald Steve Hildmann, son Zachary, and brother Brian Bonner.
Peggy and Steve married on September 29, 1979. On July 9, 1983 Zachary was born.
She worked as a cake decorator and had several at home businesses. In 1992 she started working at the Denver Public Library. She began as a shelver, then became geneaology specialist, and then became a librarian. In 2010, she retired and was diagnosed with cancer leading her to go on disability.
She loved her family, traveling, meeting people, learning new things, and reading. She also had many crafting hobbies such as sewing, knitting, crocheting, quilting, and making unique gifts.
She was also a proud member of Marley Neighborhood Organization and Southwest Improvement Council.
