Margaret Zigterman

Margaret Ann was born in Elwood, Indiana to Buell and Ethel Mae Groover Talley on March 9, 1930. She was the third of 6 daughters born to the couple. The family moved to northwestern Indiana and lived in several small towns before moving to Gary, Indiana in the summer before Margaret started the 5th grade. She graduated Horace Mann High School in 1948 and married Wallace Erwin Zigterman on July 16th of that summer. They joined the Highland Christian Reformed Church Feb.1949. They had three children while still living in Indiana. They moved to Denver, Colorado in January of 1957 where 2 more children were added to the family. She has been a member of The First Christian Reformed Church of Denver since moving to Colorado, serving the Lord in several capacities. Wally and Margaret moved to the Heather Gardens community, Aurora, Co. in 2000. Wally died in June, 2004. Margaret joined Wally on January 31, 2016. She is survived by her children Barbara Delamar, William and Barbara Zigterman, Michael and Mary Webb, Cal and Jane Pelon, and Dan and Rebecca Zigterman. Also 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 3 sisters.

Visitation will be at 7pm on Monday, February 8, 2016 at The First Christian Reformed Church, 1814 S. Emerson St., Denver, Co. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 11am at The First Christian Reformed Church, 1814 S. Emerson St., Denver, Co.

In lieu of flowers, Margaret has asked that donations be made to the Denver Christian School tuition fund of The First Christian Reformed Church 1814 S. Emerson St., Denver, Co.
