In Loving Memory of Margie Halvorsen

Margie (Morehead) Halvorsen, of Aurora, Colorado, passed away on August 13, 2026, at 11:54 PM, at the age of 78. She was born on June 10, 1948, in Michigan.

Margie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She married the love of her life, David Halvorsen, on October 8, 1968, and together they shared a lifetime of memories.

Margie was known for her strong and stubborn spirit, her wonderful sense of humor, and most of all, her ability to laugh and bring laughter to those around her. She had a special love for cats, butterflies, and hummingbirds. She found joy in gardening and crocheting, and her hands were often busy creating something beautiful or tending to something she loved.

She leaves behind her husband, David Halvorsen; her daughters, Deborah Raupp and Teresa Butts; her beloved grandchildren, Candice, Mikailah, Cayden, Audrey, and Rhys; and her great-grandson, Leon.

Margie's family will forever cherish the memories of her laughter, her strength, her stubborn determination, and the love she gave in her own unique way. Though she is no longer here, the love she shared and the memories she created will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever.

She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and never forgotten.
