Margie J. Murrieta, 54, of Denver, passed away July 27, 2015.
She was born August 14, 1960 in Truchas, New Mexico, the daughter of Albert and Cordelia (Panas) Cordova. She was a graduate of Espanola Valley High School in New Mexico. On August 10, 1985, she married Roger Murrieta.
Margie loved children. She loved working with children in the Denver Public Schools. She helped to raise her nieces and nephews. Above all, she adored spending time with her children and her grandchild. She will be remembered as a great cook. She will be dearly missed.
In addition to her husband, Roger Murrieta, Margie is survived by Two Daughters, Regina (Richard) Clark, Rachael Murrieta; Two Sons, Matthew (Rayel) Murrieta, Michael Murrieta; Grandchild, Reina Clark; Six Brothers, Max (the late Lillian) Cordova, William (Nena) Cordova, Sammy (Sandra) Cordova, Dicky (Diahann) Cordova, Ricky (Adrina) Cordova, Melvin Cordova; Three Sisters-In-Law, Grace Cordova, Lydia (Richard) Espinoza and Jeannette Murrietta; Two Sisters, Darlene (Mike) Montoya, Christine (Karl) Valdez; two close friends and former sisters-in -law, Tina Cordova and Becky Ortega; and Many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by Father, Albert Cordova, Brother, Albert Cordova, Jr.
