Marguerite E. Wolever

Marguerite E. Wolever, 96, of Wheat Ridge, CO passed away on March 13, 2013. She was born to the late Arthur and Anna Swain in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, on September 23, 1916, and graduated from South Side High School. She was married to the late Donald A. Wolever, and they lived most of their lives in Fort Wayne, before relocating to Wheat Ridge, CO, in 1998. Marguerite is a retiree of the U.S. Postal Service and a member of Fort Wayne Trinity English Lutheran church.

She is survived by two daughters: Charmyn Calderone, of Arvada, CO, and Elaine Maichle of Highlands Ranch, CO. She is also survived by one brother, Gene Swain of Powder Springs, GA; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Marguerite is also preceded in death by her son, Marshall; sister, Bonita Curry; and three brothers: Arthur, Richard and Robert Swain.

Marguerite enjoyed visiting art museums and parks and spending time with her family.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to charities Marguerite supported: Fort Wayne Trinity English Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne Rescue Mission, Fort Wayne Crossroad Child and Family Services or Denver Rescue Mission.
