Maria Elena Cerda-Vargas, born September 5, 1960 in Michoacan, Mexico to Maria and Cecilio Cerda. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Hector; mother of Gabriela (Abram), Hector (Rosio), Elizabeth (Rodrigo) and Bernice; 7 grandchildren; brothers: Gustavo, Manuel, Jesus, Sergio, Juan, Martin and Jose Cerda; sisters: Esperanza Macias and Andrea Razo; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her newphew Juan Cerda, Jr.
