Maria is survived by her husband J Manuel Garcia of 45 years, children; Juan Carlos Garcia (Tina), Sonia Amalia Mercado (Gerardo), Julia Garcia, Claudia Garcia. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. Her siblings are Connie Munoz, Guadalupe Cardona, Roberto Cardona (Virginia), Reuben Cardona, Edwardo Cardona (Martha). She is preceded in death by her parents Alvaro and Maria Cardona.
Pallbearers will be Juan Carlos Garcia II, Juan Manuel Mercado, Gerardo Mercado, Andres Munoz , Ivan Ortiz, Angel Garcia, Hector Cardona, and Luis Carlos Garcia.
