Maria Sabol, 95, of Aurora, passed away January 19, 2017.
She was born May 18, 1921 in Aichach, Germany, the daughter of Anna Maria Niochl. On December 11, 1952 she married Stephen Sabol, of Ambridge, Pennsylvania.
Maria is survived by her son, Stephen R. Sabol (Valerie Sabol); daughter, Madelene P. Sabol; five grandchildren, Stephen Sabol (Eve Sabol), Alexander Sabol, Stephanie Sabol, Taylor Nicks (Jennifer Nicks) and Michael Sabol (Keri Sabol); six great-grandchildren, Charlie Sabol, Oliver Sabol, Deaus Sabol, Saphire Sabol, Olivia Nicks and Anna Nicks. She is preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Sabol; half-brothers, Johann Noichl, Alfons Weismann and Max Weismann; parents; grandchild, Jeffrey Harville; and step-mother, Tante Leni.
Maria lived her childhood in Grassau, Germany. She survived through World War II. She met Stephen Sabol in Garmisch, Germany in 1952 and married him the next year. She then moved to the United States and resided mostly in Aurora, Colorado. She had two children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She dearly loved her husband and traveled many parts of the world and lived a long and happy life.
