Marie Lopez , 72, of Westminster, passed away April 2, 2016.
She was born February 13, 1944 in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of Gaspar and Carmelita (Cordova) Cruz.
She was a member of St. Cajetan Catholic Parish. Marie loved to read, to travel to Las Vegas and play in Florida. Above all, she was a devoted mother and grandmother.
On June 18, 1993, she married Anthony Lopez.
Marie is survived by three children, Annette (Mike) Vigil, Chris (Keri) Tapia, and Valerie M. (Jay) Grubbs; five grandchildren, Rachel Tapia, Devanny Tapia, Christopher Tapia, Mario Tapia and Gabby Grubbs; four great-grandchildren, Mia Chilcott, Demi Chilcott, Janaya Chilcott and Skarlette Tapia; many brothers and sisters and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by Husband, Anthony Lopez; Grandchild, Nicole Marin; Father, Gaspar Cruz; Mother, Carmelita Cruz and many brothers and sisters.
