Marie "Mia" H. Allen, 89, of Littleton, passed away March 21, 2016.
She was born June 21, 1926 in Maastricht, Netherlands, the daughter of Joannes and Gertrudis (Gerritsen) Vinck.
On December 11, 1946 she married Earl Robert Allen, who she met when he was stationed in her hometown during WWII. She then began her great adventure.
She enjoyed traveling and, especially enjoyed visiting family in the Netherlands.
Marie is survived by Daughter, Gertrude (Trudy) A. Meyer; 3 sisters; 2 brothers; and Many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her Father, Joannes Vinck, Mother, Gertrudis Vinck, Husband, Earl Robert Allen, and 2 brothers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Denver Dumb Friends League.
