Marilyn Delores Thomas, 84, of Aurora, passed away August 5, 2016.
She was born December 23, 1931 in Petersburg, Nebraska, the daughter of Bernard and Beatrice (Mack) Schrad. She was a graduate of Petersburg High School. While head of Operations Administration for Merrill Lynch in Omaha, NE, she met Air Force Officer James D. Thomas and they were married on June 10, 1967.
Marilyn is survived by her husband James Thomas; two daughters, Lisa (Frank) Lavelle and Julie Thomas; two grandsons, T.J. and Aidan Lavelle; three brothers, Donald (Eldora) Schrad, Walter Schrad, and Leonard Schrad; sister-in-law, Joyce Schrad; and brother-in-law, Delbert Heithoff. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Beatrice Schrad; brother, Robert Schrad; and sister, Myra Heithoff.
