Marilyn Diane Corwin, 61, of Northglenn, passed away September 12, 2014.

She was born January 9, 1953 in Phoenix, Arizona, the daughter of Harry and Dorothy (Barr) McClain. She was a graduate of Lakewood High School. She attended Red Rocks Community College and Front Range Community College. On July 22, 1970 she married Jerry Corwin, of Lakewood, Colorado.

Marilyn is survived by her husband; daughter, Melinda D. (William) Zaczkowski; two granddaughters, Amanda L. Corwin and Cassandra D. Zaczkowski; great-grandson, Jacob J. Corwin and great-granddaughter, Evelyn E. Zaczkowski; and her father, Harry T. McClain. She is preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy M. McClain; sister, Kathleen Kibel, and brother, Kevin McClain.

She was a member of the Rocky Mountain Society of Agriculture and YTCA dog club. Marilyn was an officer and a charter member of the Rocky Mountain Yorkshire Terrior Club. She also started and operated the Rocky Mountain Yorkshire Terrior Rescue. She loved animals and showed animals for many years. Her greatest joy in life was her family. Her hobbies and interests spanned from African Violets to reading to animals.
