Marilyn June Johnson, 80, of Watkins, CO, passed away at her home surrounded with family and friends Sunday, November 23, 2014.

Marilyn was born in Minneapolis, MN, to Herman and Margaret Olson, June 16, 1934. Marilyn graduated from Central High School in 1952. She worked at White Castle and Elite Cleaners while in Minneapolis.

She married Keith Johnson and lived on both coasts and all over the country.
Marilyn was a great hostess and loved giving parties, especially themed ones.
Her passions were antiques, hummingbirds, the mountains, and going "up the hill" to go gambling.

Marilyn is survived by her husband Keith, son Richard, sister Yvonne Baardson in Washington, brother Howard Olson in Minnesota, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her niece and friend Heidi and husband Nick Forrette in Colorado who was of great comfort and help. She is preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Franklin (Florida), John Thomas (Minnesota), and Douglas (Minnesota).

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting a donation to the Denver Hospice 501 S Cherry St Suite 700, Denver 80246, or the hospice of your choice.
