Marilyn A. Stiles, 85, of Lakewood, CO, formerly of Casper, WY, passed away June 16, 2017.
She was born February 9, 1932 in Lorenzo, Nebraska, the daughter of Arnold and Clara (Pittock) Stockamp.
She was a graduate of Sidney High School in Sidney, Nebraska.
On September 8, 1957, she married Douglas Stiles in Sidney.
Marilyn was a former member of Mt. Hope Lutheran Church in Casper where she was a Sunday School teacher.
She lived in Casper for 46 years until she moved to Lakewood in 2010 to be closer to family.
Marilyn enjoyed gardening, puzzles and her daily walks. She was also an animal lover.
Marilyn is survived by two daughters, Denise S. (Mark) Schmidt and Lynn A. (Kevin Reedy) Stiles; two grandchildren, Lindsey Schmidt and Brian Schmidt; many nieces, nephews and extended family and her cherished cat, Muffy.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Douglas H. Stiles; father, Arnold H. Stockamp; mother, Clara Pauline Stockamp; two sisters, Lois Rice and Marcia Haessler and brother, Corliss Stockamp.
Private interment will take place at Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery in Evansville, WY.
