Marion Henry

Marion Elizabeth Henry was born on September 13, 1943 in St. Paul, Minnesota, the youngest child of 8. She left home at the young age of 15 and lived on her own. She had many jobs, and one that she loved to talk about was working in a circus. Later in life she put herself through beauty school.

She met her husband Bill at a dance hall. They were married and lived happily until his death in 1999. They had 3 boys: Randy, Shawn and Brent. She was determined to give her children the love and stability that were lacking in her own childhood, and was a devoted and caring mother to them. She was immensely proud of her sons.

Marion was as a loving grandmother to Randy’s daughters Devon & Gadget, as well as to Shawn and Courtney’s children Will and Caroline. She took great care to help with Will and Caroline’s upbringing when they lived in Denver. She often came to their home to babysit and help out.

A stroke in her later years inhibited her mobility, but it never affected her capacity to love and care about her family.

Marion died on June 4, 2026. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill and her son Randy. She is survived by her son Brent and his wife Jody, and by her son Shawn, his wife Courtney, and grandchildren Devon, Gadget, Will and Caroline.
