Marlene Ann (Stoller) Leman, 72, of Aurora, CO departed this life peacefully at 9:15 PM, Monday, April 30, 2012 at the Medical Center of Aurora. She was born on September 11, 1939 in Gridley, Illinois to Ezra and Martha (Martin) Stoller. She married Tom Wilmer Leman on October 12, 1958 in Gridley. He survives.
Also surviving are three sons: Mike (Deb) of Aurora, Doug of Vero Beach, FL, and Ed (Gail) of Congerville, IL; one daughter, Carol (Keith) Kaufman of Sabetha, KS; one brother, Herb (Nancy) of Germantown Hills, IL; three sisters, Dorothy (Alvin) Ringger and Marge (late Floyd) Meiss of Gridley, IL, and Doris (Bob) Meiss of Peoria, IL, 11 grandsons, 9 granddaughters, and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, two daughters, Kris (Ben) Bauman of Eureka, IL, and Kathy (Art) Kellenberger of Morrill, KS, and two grandsons.
Marlene enjoyed her marriage of 53 years. She was a lover of hospitality and opened her heart and home to many.
She was a member of the Aurora Apostolic Christian Church where funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 5, 2012. Church ministers will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 PM on Friday evening at the Newcomer Funeral Home at 190 Potomac St. in Aurora and from 9:15 – 9:45 AM on Saturday at the church before the service. Burial will be at the Fairmount Cemetery in Denver, CO.
