Marsha Ann Jordahl

January 16, 1948 — January 16, 2014

Marsha Ann Jordahl, of Aurora, Colorado died Thursday, January 16th, on her 66th birthday.

She was born January 16, 1948, in Enid, Oklahoma, to Dallas and Marjorie Moon, now of Lubbock, Texas. Over the years, Marsha resided in Lubbock, Texas, Jacksonville, Florida, San Francisco, California and Aurora, Denver and Evergreen, Colorado.

Marsha had a great love of animals, especially Yorkshire terriers and Pomeranians, and is preceded in death by her beloved Sissy, Rudy, Pom Pom, Inky and Brutus.

She had an eye for design, excelling in interior decorating and working in floral arranging, even owning her own floral shop—Michelle's Floral—for several years in Aurora. She enjoyed movies, music, dancing , shopping, lunch with the girls, bingo, boating, camping, tanning, picnics, BBQs on the deck, all manner of socializing with friends and family and being a mom to her two rambunctious boys . Her sons also remember in particular her great laugh, directness, chattiness (though she said she hated the phone—ha!ha!ha!), and how much chicken she ate for a person who said she hated chicken (!).

Marsha is survived by her parents, Dallas and Marjorie, her two sons, Scott and Brian Reed (of her first marriage to Dennis Reed), Scott's wife, Kim Reed, Brian's girlfriend, Elizabeth (Buffy) Fisher, her niece, Adrianne Parry, and seven grandchildren—Johnathan, Ashley, Camron, Morgan, Blake, Katarina, and Grayson. She also leaves behind many special, close friends.

A celebration of Marsha's life will be held Friday, January 24th, 1 to 4 pm, at Casa Vallarta, 4002 S. Parker Road, Aurora, with a memorial service to commence at 1pm. Friends and family are encouraged to share their thoughts and memories of Marsha during the service; please let us know in advance if you would like to say a few words. Business casual attire is requested.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to alpha-1foundation.org or rockymountainyorkierescue.com.
