Martha Bray, age 78, went home to be with the Lord on November 29, 2025, in Parker, Colorado. Martha was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, mimi, and friend.
As a single mother, she worked tirelessly to provide for her daughter, modeling strength, resilience, and selfless love. Later in life, after retiring, Martha entered a season she truly cherished—caring for children. She loved nurturing and watching them grow, and this chapter brought her immense joy and purpose and she talked about this season of her life for years to come.
Martha’s greatest joy was simply being with her family. She treasured time spent with those she loved, and her presence will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas and Beatrice McKowan. She is survived by her daughter, Holly McKowan; her grandchildren, Chandler, Hannah, and Jace; her great-grandchildren, Rayven, Arabelle, and Hudson; her brother, Bob McKowan; and many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
While her earthly presence will be missed, Martha leaves behind the comfort of knowing she is now at peace in God’s eternal care. Her life was a blessing, and her memory will be cherished always.
A memorial gathering will be held in early 2026 with family and close friends to honor and celebrate Martha’s life.
