Martha L.(Bromell) Jackson

Martha L. (Bromell) Jackson, 77, of Aurora, passed away May 17, 2015.

She was born October 5, 1937 in Brunswick County, North Carolina, the daughter of Sam and Carrie (Davis) Bromell. She was a graduate of Union High School in Shallutte, North Carolina.

Martha is survived by two daughters, Monica S. Jackson & Debra L. Jackson; the father of her children, Harry Jackson; sister, Victoria Davis; brothers, Freddie, Dan, and Bennie Bromell; and a number of adopted children, grandchildren, family, & friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings.

Martha was the executive chef at St. Ursula Church in Mount Vernon, New York for 35 years until she retired in 1999. There after she relocated to Aurora, Colorado where she became an active member at her church and throughout the community. "Miss Martha", as most people called her, never met a stranger and everyone she met became family. "Miss Martha", will be missed by all who knew her.
