Born into new Life MARY BROWN
I believe in the sun even if it isn't shining.

FAITH LIFE
Saved and Baptized at Victory Baptist Church. Long standing member of Park View Baptist Church; more recently attended Emmanuel Baptist Church in Loveland and Fundamental Baptist Church in Denver. Loved her church family and regretted not being able to attend. She was so pleased when her friends or church family would take her to dinner, or stop by and visit. Mary was so thankful for any excursion after she was unable to drive as she was housebound and loved the fellowship. Mary left gospel tracts and spoke to others about her faith in Christ. If you have any question in your mind about eternal issues, please contact any family member or Pastors Garner, Miller or White. Mary's confident faith helped her to live, and die, without fear for her future.

Life is a Vapor
by Mabel Byrd Barboe
(Mary's Mother)
Life is but a vapor,
One short breath and I'll be gone,
The world may soon forget
I walked this way.
The precious Love of Jesus
Will go with me on and on,
And I will dwell with Him
Forever along the way.

MARY
Original poem
by Roberta Hogan

ALWAYS THE OLDER SISTER
ALWAYS GIVING ADVICE
WE DIDN'T ALWAYS AGREE
BUT YOU WERE USUALLY PRETTY WISE.

YOU WERE MY GUARDIAN ANGEL
WHEN I STARTED FIRST GRADE
THOSE MEMORIES WILL ALWAYS BE
WITH ME AS YOU HANDLED IT WITH GRACE.

YOU SAVED BROKEN PRETZELS FOR ME
WHEN YOU WORKED AT DALE'S DRUG STORE
AND DADDY MADE IVA AND ME YOUR
DATING CHAPERONS
JUST TO KEEP THINGS ABOVE BOARD.

WE ONLY TOLD ABOUT THE KISSING A FEW TIMES
SO DADDY WOULD BE AWARE
THEN WE COULD CONTINUE TO GO ON YOUR DATES
BECAUSE HAMOR BOUGHT US HAMBURGERS
AND MILK SHAKES - HE DIDN'T SEEM TO CARE

IN SOME WAYS YOU WERE LIKE A MOTHER TO ME
I'LL REMEMBER YOU ALWAYS
AND I KNOW YOU'LL REMEMBER ME

AND,

DON'T CHANGE TOO MANY THINGS IN HEAVEN
GOD PROBABLY DECORATED THE WAY HE WANTED
IT TO BE.
