Mary Alcarita (Muniz) Benavidez, 85, of Denver, passed away October 4, 2015.
She was born February 9, 1930 in Trinidad, Colorado, the daughter of Alcario and Margarita (Bernal) Muniz.
Mary married Tranquillino Benavidez in Aguilar, Colorado.
Mary loved to cook and bake. Everything was always homemade and made from scratch. Her family's fondest memories are enjoying the food made for them.
Mary is survived by three Daughters, Darlene L. Benavidez (Guzman), Lucille A. (Dean) Groman and Bernice A (Neil) Murphy; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and Sister-In-Law, Lillian Muniz.
She is preceded in death by Father, Alcario Muniz, Mother, Margarita Muniz, Husband, Tranquillino Benavidez, Son, Manuel Benavidez, Brother, David J. Muniz and Sister, Quantillio Rubio.
