Mary Ann Hamm (McCormick), age 80, passed away on November 13, 2025, in Littleton, Colorado, surrounded by her family.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Mary Ann was a longtime resident of Littleton and Castle Rock, Colorado, and will be remembered for her warmth, loyalty, and joyful spirit.
She was born on June 8, 1945, in Washington state to Gordon and Alice McCormick, both of whom preceded her in death, along with her brother, David McCormick. On August 1, 1968, she married the love of her life, Charles “Bill” William Hamm, beginning a devoted partnership that spanned 57 years and was filled with love, laughter, and shared adventures.
Mary Ann graduated from South High School in Denver in 1963 and went on to build a remarkable 38-year career with Public Service Company. She began her professional journey in Alamosa, Colorado, and concluded it in Denver, where she served as the company’s corporate librarian. She was admired for her dedication, strong work ethic, and the care she brought to everything she did. Family was the center of Mary Ann’s world.
She is lovingly survived by her husband Bill; her children, Stacy Hamm (wife Misty Hamm) of Lone Tree, Colorado, and Micah Hamm (wife Amanda Hamm) of Lone Tree, Colorado; and her cherished grandchildren, Brayton Hamm, Breland Hamm, and Morgan Hamm, who brought her immense pride and joy.
Mary Ann found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She loved traveling, visiting with lifelong friends, camping, cooking, reading, and enjoying a good margarita. She had a gift for making people feel welcome, and her laughter and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of life will be held on March 7, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at The Lone Tree Hub, 8827 Lone Tree Parkway, Lone Tree, Colorado.
Her legacy lives on in the love she gave, the memories she created, and the family she treasured above all else.
