In Loving Memory of Mary Sally Delgado
Mary Sally Delgado, age 92, of Denver, Colorado, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2026. She was born in Monte Vista, Colorado, to Celestino Ruibal and Charlotte Lovato and was raised in a loving family with five brothers and one sister.
Mary married Joe Delgado, and together they built a family filled with love and cherished memories. She treasured visiting with family and friends, shopping, dancing, and collecting music boxes and dolls—things that brought her great joy throughout her life.
Mary was known for her kind and generous heart, her gentle spirit, her remarkable memory for family birthdays, and her wonderful knowledge of family history. She had a special ability to make friends easily and made everyone around her feel welcomed and cared for. Her warmth, stories, and love for her family will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Louise Delgado Vincent, (John Sr.) Dolores Delgado Trujillo (Nick), and Nadine Gonzales Gregory (Ben); 12 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren, who will carry her memory and legacy forward.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joe Delgado; her son, Donald Delgado; her daughter, Eleanor Ruibal Aragon; her parents Celestino and Charlotte Ruibal, her sister, Lucille Ruibal Rivera; and her brothers, Lueben Ruibal and Celestino Ruibal Jr.
Services
A special viewing celebrating Mary's life will be held on Monday, August 31, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer's Mortuary, located at 901 S. Sheridan Blvd., Lakewood, CO.
A Rosary will be prayed on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., followed immediately by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, located at 4200 Federal Boulevard, Denver, CO.
Burial will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Crown Hill Cemetery, located at 7777 W. 29th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, CO, where our beloved mother, Mary, will be laid to rest.
A procession to the gravesite will form at the circle near the entrance of the cemetery.
Flowers may be sent to either Newcomer's Mortuary or St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church.
