Cammarata, Mary Jean
Her life centered on her love of family and friends. Mary Jean will be remembered for her kindness, gentle ways, supporting nature and her talents as an artist, a singer and a ballroom dancer. Mary Jean died at the Porter Hospice August 5, 2015 with family at her bedside. She is and will be forever missed. She was born in Central City, NE 1922. As a young woman she met her husband to be, Peter at an Omaha dance club and they danced their way through over 67 years of marriage. They were often mistaken for professional ballroom dancers. In 1945 Mary Jean moved from Omaha to the Denver area to await her husband and the completion of his service in the Army Air Corps. Mary Jean and Peter were devoted parents raising three children. Mary Jean is survived by her son Gary (Bev); daughters Pamela (Len) Orme, Terree (Jeff) Meyers; grandchildren Brandon (Gloria), Tanon, Travis (Shauna), Cooper (Piper), Taylor; great-grandchildren Elizabeth and Vincent.
