Mary was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 5, 1925. She was the 2nd eldest of 5 children which included 3 brothers and 1 sister. She grew up in the Gresham neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. She graduated Calumet HS in 1943 and married her childhood sweetheart, James Thomas Mueller on August 3, 1946. They were married for almost 51 years when James passed away in April 1997.
She was active in her church woman's group, adult Sunday school and counted the offering after church for many years. Her favorite Hymns were whispering Hope and In the Garden.
She volunteered at the Interchurch Task Force every week for many years with other women from her church, which she enjoyed tremendously. Mary enjoyed activities like golfing with Jim and friends, camping and fishing with family and family gatherings with immediate and extended family from Chicago and Florida, traveling 'with Jim, as well as gardening, jigsaw puzzles and crocheting. She was an animal lover, especially the family dogs and supported the Denver Dumb Friends League.
She worked for and retired from the Frontier Airlines accounting department after 15 years.
Mary and Jim bought a home in Aurora, CO in 1956, where they raised a family and she resided for over 60 years. She was loved and admired by her friends and neighbors. Her greatest joy in life was her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mary is survived by her sister Gene, twin brothers Ed and Ted, 2 daughters, 3 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 newborn great great grandchild and 14 nieces and nephews.
