Marylyn Helen Pinter, born on July 31, 1936, in New Jersey to John and Mary, peacefully passed away on March 13, 2026. Her life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, dedication, and an unyielding spirit.
Marylyn’s journey began in the heart of New Jersey, where she spent her formative years surrounded by the love and guidance of her parents. Her early life laid the foundation for a character defined by resilience and compassion. She later welcomed two children into the world while living in Germany, a testament to her adventurous spirit and strength.
A devout Catholic, Marylyn embraced her faith with deep commitment. She served as a Eucharistic Minister, touching many lives within her community through her devotion and selflessness. Her generous heart extended beyond the walls of her church, as she supported both Catholic and non-Catholic charities, always seeking to bring hope and aid to those in need.
Throughout most of her life, Marylyn was a tireless worker, juggling two jobs until she reached the age of 65. Her dedication and perseverance were defining aspects of who she was. Yet, she also knew the importance of joy and relaxation. Travel, particularly cruises, brought her immense happiness and a chance to explore the world’s wonders. Marylyn had a playful side too—she delighted in the thrill of one-armed bandits, finding simple pleasures in life’s little games.
In quieter moments, Marylyn found peace and fulfillment in crocheting baby blankets, which she lovingly donated to her church. This gentle craft was a reflection of her nurturing nature and desire to serve others in tangible ways. Her love for life extended to lighter pleasures as well; she adored watching cartoons, with favorites like “How to Train Your Dragon” and “Frozen” bringing smiles to her face. And when it came to treats, Marylyn never met a cookie she didn’t love, especially enjoying salt water taffy from the Atlantic City boardwalk—small delights that brought warmth to her days.
Marylyn Helen Pinter is survived by her two children who love and will miss her dearly. Through their memories and the countless lives she touched, her spirit will continue to shine brightly.
Marylyn’s life was one of unwavering faith, hard work, kindness, and joy. She leaves behind a legacy rich with love and the quiet strength of a woman who gave generously to her family, her community, and all those fortunate enough to know her. She will be remembered with deep affection and gratitude.
