Matthew was a kind, loving and caring person and made sure you were taken care of - he'd give you the shirt off his back. If you needed something or needed his help, he'd be there, maybe not right away - but he'd be there. Matthew had such a big heart and made sure everyone came before him. Matthew always said the little things mattered most in life to him. Money, objects, things didn't matter to him in life, he'd say they're always replaceable.
Family to Matthew was very important and he would go to war to protect anyone who would try to harm them. When Matthew and Sara first met, he told his sister that he was going to marry her because he loved her right from the start. Matthew couldn't wait to be a dad, when he met Sara's grandmother for the first time she told him "You're going to give me a grand baby". When he saw their son he was so happy and loved him so much. He always wanted a big family and was such a kid at heart. Matthew loved his Ninja Turtles, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Superman - he always would say he was Superman and his sister was his Kryptonite. His sister Elizabeth was his best friend.
Matthew was a hard working person and took pride in what he did, always making sure things turned out right. He loved getting dirty or didn't care if he got dirty, but boy he always cleaned up very nice.
He loved fixing things, better yet, taking them apart to see how they worked. Painting, coloring, drawing. He loved trucks, classic cars, motorcycles or anything he could drive. Matthew loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, shooting. He loved binge watching TV shows to movies, eating and boy could he sleep. Matthew loved bowling and playing pool he was literally good at it all, and he was really smart. He could watch a movie or listen to a song and have it memorized. He always loved being loud for everyone to hear him.
Matthew was such a people person - he could walk into a room and talk to anyone with confidence and was always confident in anything he did. He always knew how to make someone laugh and was such a jokester. Matthew had such a way with older people, they always loved him. He had such an old soul.
Matthew loved listening to music especially when he was working, it helped keep him focused and calm. Matthew loved his country music to old classic rock to the good ole oldies. He would say he should have grown up back in the 50's-60's.
Matthew always had good manners, he would always hold doors open, said Yes, Sir or No Ma'am, Please and Thank you (thank you Debbie Darling). He also had his bad side too and if you got on his bad side, he'd be sure to let you know.
Matthew touched so many people's lives and hearts, he will truly be missed and never forgotten.
