Matthew Allen "Matt" Brungart, 31, of Littleton, CO passed away Sunday, April 5, 2020.
He was born November 4, 1988 in Westminster, Colorado, the son of Christopher and Cheryl (Lunda) Brungart.
He was a 2007 graduate of Highlands Ranch High School. Matthew enlisted directly after high school into the US Marine Corps and served from 2008-2010. His boot camp was at Camp Pendleton in San Diego, CA and served he overseas in Okinawa, Japan.
Matthew was a beloved son, nephew, cousin and friend. He worked for Arapahoe Rentals. He was very involved in the Denver area bowling community and enjoyed helping with the Denver ABT tournaments. Matthew was an ABT champion and had been in several finals over the years. In addition to bowling, Matthew enjoyed playing video games and also enjoyed hanging out with his two cats, Tito and Luna.
He was preceded in death by his father, Christopher Allen Brungart, his mother Cheryl Ann Brungart, and both his maternal and paternal grandparents.
He is survived by his aunt, Doreen Hinsley; cousins, Michael Hinsley (Shelby Younie), Nicole Hinsley (Jeff Montgomery); first cousins once removed, Lilly and McKenzie Hinsley, Alaina and Aleea Lepp and Ellie Montgomery as well as numerous relatives in Maryland and his girlfriend, Dana Corsaro.
The family is asking for memorial contributions to the American Heart Association, 1777 S Harrison St, Denver, CO 80210. Also, the family would like remind everyone to listen to their bodies, be mindful of their health and get regular checkups.
