Melanie Cahill, 45, of Golden, passed away February 19, 2016.
She was born November 20, 1970 in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of Vincent and Deborah (Shorey) Van Vorst. She was a graduate of Englewood High School.
Melanie is survived by her children, Lexie and Jacob Cahill; parents, Vincent and Deborah Van Vorst; and sister, Melissa (Joseph Powell) Van Vorst. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, John Woolley; uncle, Dean Van Vorst; and aunt, Cheryl Van Vorst.
Our Mother, Daughter, and Sister was astonishingly loving and kind-hearted, she was sweet to everyone. Her personality radiated warmth. She was happiest spending time with her children and enjoyed relaxing at our cabin in Pine, Colorado. Her laughter was infectious, and genuine she could always be found with a smile on her face.
