Born May 8,1913 in Avon, South Dakota. Preceded in death by son Gerald Edwards: 2 sisters, Beulah Bender and Bessie Funk: 1 Brother Leighton Hudson: Mother Rebecca Hudson: Father Robert Hudson, 1 grand child Joel Edwards and Husband's Clarence Edwards, Donald Holmes and Bert Anderson.
Survived by brother Clifford Hudson, daughter Janet Wood, 5 grand children Jimmie Edwards, Joyce Bailey, Randy Wood, Gregory Wood, and Derryl Wood; 6 great grand children, Ashley, Jared, Samuel,Stephanie, Rebecca and Nicolas; Great-great grand children Ryan and Jered, and many nephews and nieces.
Melba lived a long and fruitful life and enjoyed her family and church. She will be forever in our thoughts and prayers.
