Melva Jean Gale
As the result of a stroke, Melva Jean Gale, age 75, was received in the arms of Jesus on Monday, March 3rd, 2014.
She was preceded in death by her husband Andrew Gale Jr., daughter Patrice Brown, and six siblings. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Andrew Gale III, and Franklin Gale; her brother Franklin Nelson, grandchildren: Sonja, Natalie, Emma, Ryan, Kennedy, and Jonathan, as well as nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.
Born in a small town in Louisiana, Melva over came many obstacles as did her brothers and sisters. Mom was the center of our family. Her loving care sustained us many times throughout the years. With a strong belief in God, she lead our family by example and unwavering faith. She considered her children and grandchildren her biggest blessing. Her smile, wit, and wisdom will be greatly missed.
The funeral service will be held at 2PM Tuesday, March 11th, at Fort Logan National Cemetery Staging Area "A", United States Army Honors will be rendered.
