Merlyn Schrack Wheeler, 94, of Arvada, passed away May 30, 2016.
He was born May 14, 1922 in Golden, Colorado, the son of Lloyd and Garnett Elsie (Schrack) Wheeler. He honorably served in the US Army during WWII from 1942-1945. For the majority of his life he was a Farmer and Ranch in several states. Prior to retirement he was a School Bus Driver in Arizona. He loved working with his hands and was a very talented woodworker.
He is survived by Son, Lloyd; Daughter; Shelley; Stepsons, Eric & Brent; Several Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren; Brother, Harold Wheeler. He is preceded in death by Wife, Bertha Bedford-Wheeler, Father, Lloyd Arcol Wheeler, Mother, Garnett Elsie Wheeler.
Interment with Military Honors will take place at Ft. Logan National Cemetery.
