Merrilee Pedigeau
Merrilee Pedigeau, known affectionately to many of her friends as Mert, passed away November 17, 2011. She is survived by her mother, Fern, her dearly beloved pets, her sister, her brother and nieces and nephews.
Merrilee bravely battled inflammatory cancer for three years. In her final weeks, she was able to spend time, share laughter, and memories with many dear friends, and left this world with her mother at her side.
Throughout Merrilee's career, she was fortunate to work with friends at the Denver Post, the Rocky Mountain News, Jones Cable, Home Depot, the Federal Census, and MCI, and she was a licensed real estate agent.
A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at Mile Hi Church at 9077 W. Alameda Avenue in Lakewood, at 11:00 on Friday, December 9.
In lieu of flowers, Merrilee wished that contributions be made to your favorite animal or cancer charity.
